Kenauk Nature

1000 chemin Kenauk, Montebello, Qc,  J0V 1L0
Kenauk's story:
  • The great story of Kenauk Nature begins in 1932, when Herman Smith-Johannsen, nicknamed "Jackrabbit", decided to develop a cross-country ski trail located partly on the territory that today belongs to the fishery.

  • In 1970, Kenauk Nature, formerly linked to the Château Montebello through an economic partnership, opened its doors to the public for the very first time and the group was quickly identified as a unique luxury hotel destination.

Nowadays:

  • Nowadays, Kenauk Nature is proud to welcome you to one of their magnificent chalets divided into 3 categories: Deluxe , Classic and Heritage . It is also possible to rent a "Glamping" style yurt. Each category has its own unique aspects, allowing for a one-of-a-kind experience on each and every visit. All chalets are equipped with a kitchen, including an oven, fridge, freezer and sink. Most chalets in the Deluxe category  are also equipped with a dishwasher. Do not hesitate to call the reception for more information.

  • The Deluxe category  includes 9 chalets, which can accommodate between 4 and 19 people. The chalets in this category are all equipped with standard North American electrical outlets and benefit from a modern interior for ultimate comfort.

  • The category  Classic  includes 9 chalets, which can accommodate from 4 to 14 people. Chalets in this category have no electrical outlets and are lit by oil lamps, allowing you to let go and unite with nature.

  • The category  Heritage  includes 3 chalets, which can accommodate from 2 to 5 people. Dating back to the 1930s, the cabins in this category have a log exterior, which gives them a more rustic character. In addition, the cabins of the series  Heritage  do not have electrical outlets, just like those of the classic series.
